After the controversy caused in the Italian political system by their
previous film 'Kill
Democracy!', Beppe Cremagnani and Enrico Deaglio continue their
investigation and
present ' Gli Imbroglioni', Cheats.
This investigation proves that, during the night of the 10th of April
2006, at the end of the
Italian general elections, the system for vote counting was broken
into at least three
times and manipulation of data occur That night,Telecom's (the
Italian equivalent of BT) 'tiger team' had to guarantee the
Home Office's technological informatic security. The same team of
experts is now serving
time in jail, along with a member of the secret services, for
software hacking.
The film reports how, during the three days following April 11, 2006
Italy risked a modern
coup d'etat. 'Gli Imbroglioni' proves not only that numerous offences
were committed
during the elections and that the decisions of the Italian population
were poorly taken into
account, but also that various laws and electoral regulations,
including the power of the
judiciary bench, are to be reconsidered in order to save democracy.

NAZIROCK racconta questo passaggio politico, usando come filo conduttore le band che infarciscono di testi fascisti la loro musica skin, oi, white power e punkadestra.

The extreme right seen from the inside: its music, its leaders, its alliances, its rites, and the political acceptance that is opening the Italian Nazi-fascists the doors to institutionalized power.

But why are they being accepted and recognized? Because in Italy the radical right wing accounts for 500,000 votes that play a key role within the Italian election system, where 25,000 votes can make the difference and decide who is going to govern the Country.

NAZIROCK tells the story of this political transition using the “skin”, “oi”, “white power” and “punkadestra” musical bands who sing fascists songs as a main theme.
