THE COMPANY:
Our client are an international software house developing solutions for the asset finance, loan/insurance administration and leasing industries. Growing expontentially while still financial stable, they require two very experienced senior programmer/ developers.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Our client only want the best of the best, and are very particular in their requirements. Suitable candidates tend to be technical team leaders and degree educated. This position would suit an experienced professional who has worked the City, and is now looking for something closer to home. Your technical skills will be tested at interview stage where you will be required to develop an complex application from scratch within a 2 hour time period with no assistance.

You MUST have:
- considerable commercial VB6/VB.NET development experience for a UK based software house, developing applications for the finance industry.
- excellent ASP & HTML skills
- Oracle PL/SQL, where your database/SQL skills are to DBA standard.
- full authority to work within the UK without restriction, or need to renew a visa within 3 years.
- a stable work history. Our client will not consider candidates who change jobs on a regular basis (every 18 months or less). Exceptional candidates who have been contracting may be considered.
Additional skills in XML and C# would be advantageous. This is obviously a very strict desription of what is required, but it demonstrates the quality of your future work colleagues!
THE ROLE
This is a full lifecycle role, from analysis through to development, bug fixing and implementation. Clear career progression is provided, and candidates may occasionally travel to client sites. This professional environment works to strict standards and procedures.
